Tanomadala, formally the Socialist Democratic Micronation of Tanomadala, is a micronation located in the city of South Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia, inside the residence of our founder and current president, Quentin Pieter (also called Dave). We are officially run under a parliamentary republic, which means that our legislature holds the most power in the country, like in the United Kingdom. We hold an approximate 1.9 km² of territory, which includes 2 constituent countries, 4 provinces, and our captial region. We also hold some dependent territories and one shared territory (condominium) on a Minecraft server.
We are currently mainly run by our national socialist party, called the Tanomadalan Socialist Party (Partai Sosialis Tanomadala). Although we do allow free party elections in our national legislature, the main ruling party is still the TSP. We also allow our close allies to participate and assist us inside our legislature via the Council of Foreign Diplomats.
We firmly believe in the ideals of socialism and democracy. We strive to create a perfect socialist-democracy for our people and make sure that their needs are met and their rights are preserved and protected at all costs, as we believe that the people are what matter most in building a nation (micronational or not) just like ours.
